I have this week been seriously absorbed by this book by Andrew Ross Sorkin. On top of which I have had BBC Radio 4's book of the week rendition of extracts. It's a pretty gloomy scenario that gets painted - I look around the world and it does not look good.

I do not like my family accounts going short - it is just too dangerous. But it is the only cure.
