Blair as he faced matters over Iraq

A huge sum of taxpayers' money was spent on enquiring into Blair's conduct of the run up to the second Iraq war (kick off 2003) but it was all wasted. A record of what Blair and Bush discussed does not exist. Quite simply, Bush rang up and told Blair that if Blair was not with the US on this exercise Britain could forget subsequent American assistance. This gave Blair no choice. Therefore he cannot be criticised.

Not so sure that a man who succumbs to blackmail should not be criticised? Condemned I would say.
