Nationalising businesses

I do not know where the lunatic groundswell developed to see utilities, for instance, renationalised. There is no chance of success.


A few months ago a Dimbleby declared in a BBC Radio4 series that privatisation had failed whereas in fact the relevant legislation had never been correctly drafted in the first place. (As it happens I wrote to the Dimbleby explaining this: there was no reply. I decided that he is thick.)
