New Star's old star steps out

John Duffield, now c. 87 years old, bought circa £600,000 worth of New Star Investment Trust (NSI) yesterday, paying c. 116p as against net asset value of 176p (one can hardly blame him). But given that he already owns c. £100m worth of the stuff already he really must be very enthusiastic indeed. For long term savers NSI is a screaming buy up to 130p and without any hesitation.
