The deluge and Farage in prospect

It is fair to say that Starmer's government is quite appalling, replete with liars, dims and fools. But we voted them into power and cannot complain. Had we been stuck in the EU there would have been no result other than rising murderous anger.

I have been a big supporter of Brexit for many years. Indeed I found myself some ten years ago on an intimate table for six hosted by Jim Mellon where the guest on my right was Nigel Farage. I took an immediate liking to him. Over the two hours he displayed a comprehensive knowledge of European history. (Starmer's shower can barely read.)

It is true that Reform UK has yet to set out its full stall or indeed anything like. But they will. Britain has a future again.

Tony Blair and Lord Blunkett have come to a late rescue plan (In part) for HMG. Surely this means that the idiotic Miliband will get overridden on North Sea exploration licences. At least I hope so. JOG is a buy at 120p.

Trump continues to blunder about with his tariffs programme. The latest barmy scheme is to impose a 100% duty on British-made films coming into America. As to answering the question of 100% of what God alone knows. (I incline to continue to regard Nasdaq Tech, currently 19,779 as a short.)

It is put about that Jeremy Hunt cancelled the non-dom rules. But he only did so because twerps like Cooper, Streeting and Rayner were squawking as if they knew the law in practice - which they most certainly did not. It is quite disgraceful that oiks like these are found to have been (and to remain) in charge.
