What on earth is the point of Yasmin Alibhai Brown?

I have never worked out the answer. My chum, James Delingpole, tore her apart on TV about six years ago and I thought that that would be the end of her public appearances. It was not. She keeps on popping up. I must presume that she is called back time and again because it is a good idea to make listeners/viewers/readers feel good about themselves on realising that there really is somebody who is quite extraordinarily stupid.
